The New England Gilbert & Sullivan Society in collaboration with The Sudbury Savoyards is pleased to announce a one-day Sing-Out on Saturday, May 31st from 10am to 10pm at Hawes Hall of the Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA 01776.

This all-day extravaganza will have performances of H.M.S. Pinafore, Princess Ida, Patience and in the evening, The Pirates of Penzance with orchestra! Come for one or come for all: roles are open to members, so sign up for membership at, and email progchair AT to request roles. Shows are performed last-minute concert-style with dialogue and without rehearsal; the audience is the chorus, so bring your scores (some will be available); costumes are welcome; on-book is always ok; potluck lunch, break, and dinner will be coordinated, so please contact progchair AT if you’d like to bring something to share! Schedule and roles below. Please submit several roles you’d be interested in, as multiple assignments are possible and of course, we will honor as many requests as we can.

NEGASS/NELO Summer Concert Series

NEGASS will be collaborating with New England Light Opera to produce their hugely popular annual summer concert series at the beautiful and air conditioned Hamilton Wenham Community House, located at 284 Bay Road in Hamilton, MA.

Each week features a different theme and includes a roster of 8-12 singers drawn from our talented NEGASS membership and NELO's roster of professional singers. July 9, 16, 23, 30 at 7:30 p.m. All shows just $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and older, and $5 for kids and students. Come join in the fun!


Educational Outreach

Welcome aboard, matey! We are currently booking performances for spring 2014 productions of Pirates of Penzance, adapted especially for elementary school audiences. With the easy-to-use materials we provide, students from your school perform onstage as the chorus, alongside our quartet of professional artists.

So consider booking a performance of Pirates for your school this spring.
